Good morning, my wonderful friends. Stan here, reporting for service… We are all in the same occupation. We are farmers. We sew daily…and the how determines the harvest. I ask myself, “What am I sewing today? Every attitude¸ every action, has consequences. I ponder this even more deeply and conclude when we sew, we reap in like kind. We don’t get pole beans from planting cucumbers. There will be in some future time, a proper kind of reaping for what we have sewn. I also believe in greater time there will be a type of reaping as in planting an apple seed which grows into a mighty tree producing thousands of apples with seeds to be further planted. If we are soulfully honest with ourselves, we know where we are now is the collective, cumulative result of what we have sewn during the planting seasons of our lives. I take great joy in knowing God has not given up on me nor you. I have faced the music so many times of making wrong decisions. My greatest struggle in life is life itself…it is so daily. I, Me, and My have botched things up for decades. We all have a terminal case of pride. All of this to say, I am finally getting it. “When all else fails, no yield from the fields, not even a nubbin…it’s time to pray and rest in God.” God’s desire is to prosper us and make us a blessing to others. He wants our corn cribs and pantries to be overflowing. Can you hear me? Am I speaking loud enough?
