Mr. Obama says Angelou had the ability to remind us that we are all Gods children and that we all have something to offer. Angelou died at her home in Winston-Salem, yesterday. She was 86. Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the U.S. Open, which will be held in Pinehurst, as he recovers from back surgery that has kept him out of golf for nearly three months. It will be the second U.S. Open, and sixth major, he has missed because of injury over the last six years. Woods said a week ago that he still had not taken a full swing with a golf club and did not know when he could.
