And during the chilly night-time hours, mixing will be possible in the mountains. Big changes ahead. Christmas Eve: Highs in the 50s. Moderate to heavy rain. Strong, potentially damaging wind gusts. Temperatures plummeting at night into the 20s with rain eventually changing to snow showers overnight into Christmas. Christmas: Starting in the 20s warming into the 30s with a mix of rain and snow.
