Good morning to all my Facebook Friends. I hope everyone has all - TopicsExpress

Good morning to all my Facebook Friends. I hope everyone has all their Christmas decorations up and looking good and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the season. To bring you up to date, this week did not start off to a good start and had a slight setback and after doing well with my therapy, I had severe pain in my right thigh and down to my foot to the point that when the doctors try to touch it I hurt to the touch. After a x-ray and 2 MRI they discovered a nodule that appeared inflamed or possibly an inflamed lymph node, so now they are also treating the inflammation. During this time I was unable to move my legs at all. Here I have gone from doing my therapy to not doing anything and cannot get out of bed. Then came Thursday morning and it was as the last 2 days had not happen, I was able to move my legs and go to therapy. Everyone wanted to tell me that sometimes there are setbacks during the healing process and I told them that prayers and the grace of GOD healed me back. The last 2 days have been great and my therapy has been great. I have been able to walk 150 ft with my walker, the farthest I have been yet. I have been able to walk up and down 3 steps of stairs, again another accomplishment. Also able to do the rest of my therapy. I was able to get my first shower all by myself, boy did that feel good. Now if I could get someone to come and cut my hair. Im starting to look like a hippie. In reading Facebook this week it seems as if some of my friends are in worse shape than I am and my prayers are out to them. We all need to look out for each other and pray for each other. I am doing great by the Grace of GOD. No matter how bad off we are, there is someone who has it worse than we do. Again I cannot say or Thank all my Facebook Friends enough for all the concern, prayers, phone calls and cards that Nancy and myself have received. It means a lot to us and know that without friends, we would not know love and kindness. Again, Merry Christmas and may you know the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our LORD and that is where our true Love comes from. Merry Christmas. Until next time. Love you all.
