Good morning to each of you. There are two passages this morning that I would like to share this morning. I ask that those who will, to take a look at these passages and feel free to share how they speak to you. #1 ~ (Psalm 138:6-8) ~ King Davids words in his adversity 6 Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your Hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right Hand will save me. 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your Hands. My Take: King David was going thru a rough time, but then he realized that even though the Lord is exalted, He loves you and I. Our problems are not too small for Him to look into. Although our Lord manages and maintains the universe, He still considers what we go thru. I love verse 8 when David DECLARES that the Lord WILL perfect the things that concern him and that the mercy of the Lord endures forever! O praise the name of the Lord! God is concerned about the things that concern YOU! Many times we get too busy for each other for a host of different reasons, but God is ALWAYS listening and caring for us because HE IS GOD! Its time for us to DECLARE to ourselves that the Lord IS GOING TO WORK IN MY FAVOR - I DECLARE THAT THE LORD IS PERFECTING THE THINGS THAT CONCERN ME. #2 ~ (Philippians 1:6) ~ 6 Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will continue (complete) it until the day of Jesus Christ. My Take: Paul was writing to the Philippian church and he encourages them by DECLARING that you can be confident ~ of the fact that it was God that began this work in you - so it will be God who will CONTINUE His work in you! I now DECLARE THAT GOD IS PERFECTING ME!! Saints there are tremendous promises to start any day! it does not matter what youre going thru - God is going to perfect those things which concern you. Through your failures and your faults, God will never stop working in you. He is faithful to what He has promised ~ He is faithful beyond what we understand. His love is faithful and consistent toward each of us. Two Facts: #1 ~ Psalm 138:8 states that the Lord is perfecting the things that concern you. His Hands are in your affairs ~ #2 ~ Philippians 1:6 states that the Lord is perfecting YOU. His Hands are also upon and within You. * * * Be encouraged and be an encouragement to someone else * * * In His service, Ejake
