Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day Reflection: The preaching series we are following at the moment focussed on Peace yesterday. Transcending Peace. We spoke about worry and anxiety and how that robs us of the peace that we so desperately need in life today Matthew here is asking us to live in the day. We are always so concerned about the things of tomorrow. We plan for tomorrow, we live in tomorrow, we do everything in tomorrow, but what about today? We need to live life to the fullest today. We need to worry about the things of today. We need to do the things that God would have us to today. We need to love the people around us today, We need to be the best me that God wants me to be today. We need to live in such a way that today is the best day that we have had. We need to enjoy the things that God has given us today. We need to live now! Yes, we make the necessary plans for the future. The insurances, the policies, our will, the things that are necessary, but please live today! Live today to the fullest! Enjoy every moment. We are only given 24 hours every day, use them to the fullest to be the person that God wants you to be. Breath-prayer: Father thank you for today. Thank you for granting me the pleasure of living today! In Jesus name, Amen
