Good morning world! What a blessing to be alive today, this Dr. Martin Luther King Day. I think most people dont take this holiday as serious as it should be. Our country and especially its children need to be reminded and taught about the struggles that African Americans have beed through in history AND in my life time. Racism is alive and thriving in our nation today.....and this is simply unacceptable. Reverse racism exists as well.....that TOO is unacceptable. Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world......nor will we ever. All we can do is try to stand up for injustice where ever it rears its ugly head. The great Dr. lived to spread that message, the message that ALL men are created equal. Black, White, Yellow, Red, Gay, Straight, Transgende, WHATEVER category you might fall under......lets quit trying to categorize EACH OTHER and try to treat the rich, the poor, the senator or the homeless man with some respect as we would our Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, and Sisters. I TOO have a dream.......that we ALL learn more about what equality really is......and try harder to live it. Have a blessed day.
