Good morning you inspirational people!!! We need help on the farm...Im already here...help me .....for the love of God...help me..lol. Todays tasks.....crop covering .....planting plants in field...kids bagging more dirt to secure crop cover..other stuff.. We are trying to and have to get to Saskatchewan to seed GLA two acres of potatoes there. We dont have a vehicle to haul the potatoes and fertilizer and some small equipment needed as of yet. I will call JC Trucking to see if he will help again. We need a pickup truck with trailer I am thinking we leave Friday evening, get there Saturday evening...(this coming week) Hammer in potatoes on Sunday......leave Sunday night back here by Tuesday morning. Thats the only window I have. Please check if you have a contact to get our stuff there or a rental place that will sponsor us with the vehicle...A cube van will do as well.....not a smaller one....we have one here but its only good for local and not road worthy yet....Steves gonna work on it tody but chances are it will break down. With a pickup and trailer....I can bring back my pickup that was abandoned there when I went to set up GLA Saskatchewan ( Yorkton) and had to do the flight of shame to get back.....we can put the truck on the trailer when coming back which will save $500 in diesel. Anyone that can help out for fuel this week that would be great and every $1 counts. I am also willing to pre-sell Peas which should be ready in about 9-10 days...The Pease are organic and usually sell for a minimal of $1.99 lb. Last year they were $2.49 lb at some stores. Our peas will be the first ones out in the Valley and I will sell them to you guys for $1.50 lb....for 20 lb. boxes....if people pre-pay I can cover the fuel for the trip and yes we will have hundreds of boxes. They are English podding peas......Any trucking contact UPS anyone with a contact can help....If you want to see how GLA Saskatchewan started go down to about December on facebook and have a laugh. On the the fun side...me and the Penster went bowling yesterday evening and shes still in shock....I started with 6 strikes in a row....she was crying....I threw a few gutter rebound strikes and she watched in aww..in awwww I tell you. Then I showed her a few behind the back in the other alley and back in mine double strike shots while I did a roundhouse kick to freak her out. A couple of blindfold shots and ......like the score was 300 for me and about 22 for her. I hadnt played for 12 years and I showed her a thing or two. Thanks Penster ...we could only afford one game between us and maybe I should have taken it easy on you...but hard lesson learned.......hard lesson learned...they used to call me bowlbinder Singh......oh the humility...lol Come any time volunteers!!!!!
