Good neighbour or noise nuisance: West Lothian Community Safety - TopicsExpress

Good neighbour or noise nuisance: West Lothian Community Safety Unit (CSU) is backing Noise Action Week which takes place between 19 and 24 May 2014 by reminding local people that it is better to be a good neighbour than a noise nuisance. It is important to get on with your neighbours. It can be really useful to keep an eye on each other, to be able to help out, and to make sure our neighbours are well. As well as our personal safety, making sure our neighbours property is safe and always secure is a benefit to the whole community. Whilst not everyone sees eye to eye on everything, it is important to be mindful that simple things can be upsetting if we are not careful. Noise Action Week is a good time to think about the impact which noise in particular has on other people and take a few steps to keep noise levels down. Anyone wishing to complain about antisocial behaviour or noise should call Police Scotland on 101 Police officers may then pass calls relating to antisocial noise or antisocial behaviour to colleagues in West Lothian Council.
