Good news Bad News: Good news is that my weight is pretty much stable and my appetite has been pretty decent as of late. Bowels have been regular, which is a good thing...there were times where there were 9-15 days between them....which totally sucked. Now that they are regular, and pretty much on a daily schedule, I feel loads better. Bad News: Morphine prescription was upped and they are talking of starting me on liquid Morphine. The pain within my body has been getting worse, and at times, pretty intense. The cancer has found a home in my 7th rear rib on the left side which shoots the pain in sharp bursts throughout the skeleton. The pain is the biggest issue at the moment. Another issue is that I cant talk normal any longer...I speak in whispers. There is a tumor growth just under my Adams apple on the left side and its pressing against my vocal chords. Its very hard trying to talk, and does get me light headed at times when I try to. Theres nothing they can do for that one. Its just something I gotta live with. Im working with the people here at the center to upgrade the centers internet. At most I can only get a 56k connection, and when I do, I only use about 6.0% of that, and get disconnected quite frequently. Thats about equivalent to dial-up speed. Its DSL here and as per the local adverts in the area, they are advertizing 1gig line speeds. I just think that the center needs to upgrade their equipment and update the internet plan the center has with the provider. I miss playing some of the games I used to play, Star Trek Online, TERA, and Guild Wars 2 mostly, but also being able to voice and video with some of you as well. These are things that are keeping me busy for the time being...and I want to thank all of you for your positive thoughts and prayers! I love everyone of you!
