Good news for seven charitable and community groups in Wexford - TopicsExpress



          

Good news for seven charitable and community groups in Wexford this morning as they share a total of €88,500 in National Lottery grants through the Department of Health. Local charities St Vincent de Paul, Arthritis Ireland Wexford and the Irish Wheelchair Association Wexford will receive funding for upgrades to buildings and vehicles and the introduction of an exercise programme. Local ommunity groups St Mary’s GAA club, FAB Community & Family Resourse Project, Cumas New Ross and Kilmuckridge Community and Family Resource Enterprise Ltd will receives grants for facilities upgrade, the purchase of mini-buses and transport and financing meals-on-wheels. All of these groups are very deserving of this funding, as a result of their excellent work in communities across the County. Cumas New Ross will receive €50,000 for the purchase of new mini-buses and Kilmuckridge Community and Family Resource Enterprise Ltd will receive €10,500 to finance meals-on-wheels in the area.
