Good news from Facebook : They are implementing 2 good changes in the ranking algorithm 1) Click- Baiting headlines - This are headlines that will spark your curiosity to make you click on the link. That not necessarily go to a good quality article, so you go back to facebook. The problem with this is that as you click more and more your Newsfeed will get infested with this type of articles and the posts that you really care will be nowhere to be found. Facebook is taking into account how long you will be in page you are reading to qualify the level of quality of the article 2) Links with Post. Usually pictures have been the favorite type of post for engagement. So instead of just posting a link and letting FB add the picture, you will insert a picture and use the link as part of the post. The new change will give priority to the natural links over pictures with links. So what to do? Dont try to use graysh (is that a word?) strategies with facebook. Just publish normal heading and dont pitch people without creating first a relationship. Stop using pictures with links. Just use the link directly. One of the things I like of Facebook is that they are very public in what works or not, you just have to be alert. What do you think of the new changes?
