Good news from SSRS (Soviet Socialist Republic of Scotland) 1stly The Fish got filleted in the by-election! And Unison got firmly put in its place! The back story is that the idiot local convener for the Union is the same guy who was involved in the voting scandal in the local labour party selection process! The brothers when they get their teeth between the bit, just dont care who they hurt in pursuit of their own goals regardless of the consequences for their members, just like Scargil and his ruination of the NUM and the closure of the pits! So the union was happy to force the closure of the plant and loss of 1000+ jobs! Why? Because they want to get more members in industry and though by throwing their weight around they could get more members by winning a big battle! Red Eds pay masters have taken a hammering and his Marxist storm troopers defeated thank god! And the Union has got rid of the man from that site by the sounds of it too! At least someone in UNISON has some sense! And I bet there are a lot of people who are very pleased to see the additional investment going into the site to secure their future. Win-Win for everyone! And wasnt it wonderful to see The Fish bleating about how he could have handled it all himself! Go on pull the other one Salmon!
