Good news: the Red Cross Youth Club is starting up this winter! This Club is a great opportunity for youth to volunteer in their community on a year-round basis, in a safe, supervised, and fun group setting-as well as make some new friends! The ages for participation will be 9 to 16 years of age, although the Club will probably cater to younger youth. It is our goal to have the Club meet every month (or every other month), to work on community-based volunteer projects. If you have any youth that are interested, we are planning on having an informal Open House/Orientation for parents and youth to pick up their Red Cross Club packets, and to get more information on the Club on Thursday, November 20th from 1330 to 1630 at the Red Cross office (Building 319, 2nd Floor, same building as the WIC office). We will need some consent and other forms signed for the youth during this time as well. Please contact us for more information, or if you are unable to attend on the 20th. Thank you so much!
