Good news was received today!!!! Praise the Lord!!!! Randy has been released from the hospital and is home. He is feeling better and back to himself due to the IV fluids he received. He is on antibiotics and does possibly have some kidney stones. He needs to drink more water and less pop to keep his hydration up. Doctors are gonna stay up on cultures and hopefully stay ahead of any more UTIs. He is eating well and was actually having Taco Bell when I talked to them. When he was released he was able to keep his eye appointment that was scheduled for today. His eye is getting better. He does however; have to have another surgery in October on his left eye. After his eye heals from this surgery he will be able to get glasses and then his right eye will be able to get the medical attention it needs. His left eye has improved and is doing great. The doctor is hoping to not have to add gases or oils this time after surgery. The eye looks good but has a few membranes pulling on the retina. This is a slow process and so far its been to his advantage. He will continue to have several doctor appointments over the next few weeks but he will get over these bumps. Bubs words when he walked out of the eye doctors office were Thank God!!! We cant give thank to him enough. All the glory is his. We appreciate all your prayers. They are working and have helped to get him to this point and also have helped the rest of us through as well. We are grateful for all the prayers. They are being answered. This process on his eyes is slow but at least its improving no matter how slow it is. Please keep the prayers coming as he continues to cross these bumps and go down this road to recovery.
