Good part of the day! I would like to share a new testimonial of our recent ETALON program graduate. I am not going to mention his name as he wanted to stay unknown. Here is what he wrote on the British Stammering Answers and Discussions FB group page today: ..... i started the course on wednesday and finished it on friday .... so i have now done the etalon course and currently i am stutter free. When i say stutter free i mean i am aware of the cause of stuttering and it was pointed out clearly why i make mistakes in my speech, by the second day i was already speaking without any mistakes and my speech was great, the course is very easy to understand, just like its easy for children to learn how to speak, theres no magic technique its just the natural way of speaking, using your memory, and using your attention correctly. Although my speech is stutter free (i havent stuttered since the first day of the class), i do make some mistakes like talking too quickly and opening my mouth before thinking of a word to say, but i can control this easily and when i follow the natural rules my speech is perfect. I have rang my sister, nana, friends, girlfriend and spoke with them for hours on the phone, yesterday i went to my dads house and his girlfriend was in, i usually just stay on my phone and avoided speaking to them but i was having full in depth conversations with them all night, it felt great as my speech is normally worse when talking to my dad, then there was the added pressure of his girlfriend as she has never knew i stuttered but my speech was great. Also i never feel the need to monitor my breathing anymore i used to focus on taking deep breaths but with this course my natural speech just always makes me feel relaxed with no tension in my throat. I use to pre-block loads too, i have practically eliminated this but sometimes when i am not paying attention to what im about to say i make a mistake, but this isnt stuttering this is just me opening my mouth when i havent recalled the word i want to say, i spent all day today with my girlfriend and she doesnt know ive had a stutter and i always kind avoid having long talks with her but today i have been starting every conversation, asking questions, making jokes, all without stuttering, once you understand that stuttering is not neurological and is something you can eliminate with following the natural rules of memory, attention and speech then you will understand me clearer. The feeling of being able to say whatever pops into my head without thinking about it and trying to arrange sentences in my head is great and my confidence is growing more by the day, even on the first day of the class i was still skeptical but roman explained (with the translation of anna) what was going wrong in my speech and corrected it immediately, aslong as i keep on speaking everyday and follow the rules (which are just like following the rules to ride a bike) then im 100% confident that my speech will be perfect. when anna releases her book i suggest you all buy it because i have read alot of it and its amazing tbh, everything has become clear to me and i understand what speech is now and what causes stuttering, its like walking down a road with a few holes in the floor, as long as you follow the natural rules of walking and moving to the side of the holes you will not trip up. I know some of you will say anna has wrote this for me or something, but she hasnt, she said it was my choice if i wanted to come back on here and i feel like i need to give my review of the course since ive been blabbering on about for the past few months. Etalon has been a revelation to me and it annoys me how most of you still wont believe its real or call it a scam, but hey thats your choice, i will do another update of my speech in a months time and so on, but right now im over the moon I am not telling anyone to take etalon, but if you hate stuttering and have the money and feel like it would be a life changer then go for it like i did, but if its too expensive for you and youve accepted your stutter then fair enough, i couldnt thank anna and roman enough. (anna recorded a video of me before and after the class but i do not wish to share it online and she said thats fine)
