Good rainy evening to you! This post provides official notice of the Wine Country Young Democrats 2014 Election Meeting. This is the meeting where we will be voting on our finalized bylaws, as well as electing our Executive Board. Please read over the bylaws(which are in our photos) and offer any comments or suggestions you may have. If you are interested in running for the Executive Board, please let us know as soon as possible. Read over the roles and responsibilities of each e-board position and see if it is something you would be interested in. Any candidate may provide us with a statement to the membership explaining why they should be elected, which we will distribute via email and post on our Facebook page. As of now the only declared candidate is Logan Pitts, who is running for President. In addition to these procedural matters, we would love to get some feedback from members on the future direction of WCYD. Let the club know of any ideas, candidates or causes you think we should be aware of. Or just general political strategy and gossiping. We want it all! Feel free to bring as many people as you would like. There will also be a special announcement about a great event in the near future WCYD has been invited to. After the meeting, we may venture over to Russian River Brewing Company for some Pliny the Younger... Hope to see all of you there!
