Good win last night for Salesian High School.. A lil frustrated that one of my dbs got injured.. One of my favorites at that.. Smh.. But Downey High School is on the clock.. They look really solid and well coached in my opinion.. Run a 3-3-5 stack on defense. They rally to the ball carrier very well! 11 hats to the ball on every play. Their secondary sits in a lot of cover 3 and Man to Man.. Blitzes come from anywhere and everywhere.. On for sure passing downs their defensive ends get in a wide 9 and pin their ears back! They linebackers impressed me. They secondary was solid as well.. They are a spread team On offense.. They run zone and zone read, but are also very unorthodox at times to try and cause confusion .. Theyre running back looked impressive! Theyre QB isnt the most accurate guy in the world but he gets the job done if hes comfortable in the pocket and doesnt feel pressure.. Should be a hard fought game.. We will come out on top and victorious though.. Gotta have a great week of practice ! Uptempo! Tempo is everything.. Pete Carol taught me that.. His energy is crazy! I love it. Lol the kids feed off that though..
