Good win last night to the Div 2 Ladies v Mt Gravatt 6-0. The girls took about 20mins to hit the back of the net but that was not due to lack of trying but due to the great efforts of the Mt Gravatt Keeper, she did a great job saving some punishing shots from Teeney, Bri and Casey but once the net was hit the girls rolled 2 more in within 5 mins to be up 3-0, a forth came before half time from a long range free kick taken by Kirsty Brunker which somehow missed all of the players in the penalty and bounced up and into the net, great goal. The 2nd half started off much as the first but again once cracked the next was struck again and the girls closed out the game 6-0. Great effort by all ladies and a huge thanks to the Div 6 girls that helped out, Kaz, Steph and Lisa. Our points are 1 - Jodi, 2 - Sash, 3 - Teeney. Next week Park Ridge at Park Ridge on Sunday. keep going ladies and the Div 2 Championship could be heading to Bob Brock Park.
