A nationalist and former Minister of Aviation in the First Republic, Chief Mbazulike Amechi, who is also the chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said during the celebration of 2014 World Igbo Day at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the Anambra State capital yesterday that it was unfortunate that the Igbos who led the struggle for Nigeria’s Independence had been relegated to the background.
