Goodbye ‘A New Day…’ On this day in 2007, Celine gave the final performance of her first Las Vegas show ‘A New Day…’. After a 5 year residency, the curtains dropped at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. During this last show, Celine performed what was then her newest hit, “Taking Chances”, from the album of the same name, in addition to the show’s usual set list. Celine was overcome with emotion at the end of the show when René and René-Charles went on stage to offer her a rose. Click here to revisit this wonderful moment in photographs!
