Goodmornining ~ Good September ~ Good life Viroquians ;The energies present at this time has brought a cleansing/letting going for the Zietlows (Don,Pat,Dwight). Those of you who have been around awhile (you oldtimers) will remember Sweet Terra Farm. We were at the beginings of the Organic farm movement here in the driftless region. I personaly was at the first meeting which became C.R.O.P.P. I gave 2 years as a board member. My family also helped get the Viroqua farmers market off and running. My wife (at the time) Rachel was market manager, in those days a good day was $40.00. We were a very busy young family. We were raising 7 (Corey,Autumn,Neshoba(Shobi),Wind,Forrest,Gail,&Cameo).My parents then bought 28 goats which we helped milk at the Sweet Terra Farm which they purchased in 1987.While I looked for a farm for them I found this 80 acre trac in monroe co. 2 miles west of Cashton. It seemed perfect so I tasted the soil, it was sweet,and that sealed the deal Sweet Terra was born. Lots happened here at Sweet Terra but I think our last year at the farmers market was 2005, at that time a good day was $500.00. Anyways Seet Terra has been sold and my parents will be moving to town ,(it`s looking like Westby) that leaves me with out a home but it feels good also we will be having an auction on the 22nd of this month (september) to liquidate our things. This is a huge letting go for me I`ve been a collecter, no lets be honest I`ve been a hoarder. Most hoarders have isles to walk through their treasures~ I don`t even have isles. They make reality shows about guys like me. I am in alinement with letting go and am feeling like a transient life will be good for me and my community.More on that later, now I am asking for you (My People) to come help me let go. I will on a regular basis need help getting ready for the auction, starting this Thursday. Please come for all day or just 1 hour and bring your work songs and a dish to pass. Or come most any day call first to see if I`m going to be around 487-5574. I will create work day events when I need lots of help like this thursday. Love you all *Namaste*
