Goodnight all. This is earlier this evening . No glasses. They were accidentally left at his daycare. :( We sat outside and watched Artie and Hays playing . I dont often let myself feel sad for Carter bc it would consume me. We deal with his issues and although my heart hurts for him, my heart is also happy for him bc he has so many positives in the midst of his problems. But tonight seeing the joy of Artie and Hays playing I felt sad. Carter is just a few months younger than Hays. He will never play and enjoy the things in life he was born to do . But Carter reels me back in. As I am holding him while the boys are playing - Carter is smiling so big and lets me know he is happy regardless of the challenges he lives with each day . In that minute he had a huge smile, he was giggling and his heart told me - its ok mom. Educate others on the dangers of shaken baby syndrome . It only takes a few minutes . Never shake a baby !!
