Google De-Listing of Keller Williams Sites with Market Leader….Shay Las-Vegas Hasselmann called me about this and it is correct, KW web sites by the thousands are being taken offline. Obviously I am not a KW agent, but this post will explain the issue and how to fix it. Shay, as you pointed out, you have been de-indexed from Google today. After researching the problem, you have an issue with your Robots.txt file. It is redirecting to another site and it should be going to a file hosted on your site. This appears to be the issue for anyone who was delisted. The file there is an issue with is: https://shaylasvegashomes/robots.txt The actual file appears to be redirecting to: bobsellsohio.kwrealty/robots.txt using a permanent redirection. This is like saying your web site NO LONGER EXISTS. For information on the Robots.txt files, you can go here: https://support.google/webmasters/answer/6062608?hl=en&rd=1 If you have claimed your web site in Google Webmaster, you can check your Robots.txt file here: https://google/webmasters/tools/robots-testing-tool?pli=1 -Solution- You need to fix this Robots.txt file so its is working properly. Since Market leader is responsible for your site, they should be able to fix this problem. I would suggest contacting them immediately because the longer your site is offline, the worse the damages can be. It may take a few days, it could be a few weeks before we see your site indexed again.
