Google Glass REALLY creeps me out. Now, no matter if you are in - TopicsExpress

Google Glass REALLY creeps me out. Now, no matter if you are in public or private, someone can walk into a space and unobtrusively record video or take you picture. Seemingly, without notice and without your permission. What a loss. More than ever, we will have to assume all we do or say is (potentially) being recorded and, therefore, viewed by the world. Yes, of course, similar technology has been around for a while, but when someone raises a camera, they (in doing so), declare intent. (As I understand it, you can tell that you are being recorded when the voice command is given to start recording or when the lens is lit up.) So, what will you say when your client walks into the meeting wearing Google Glass? Or when a stranger with a lit up lens pulls up in a car and asks your spouse a question. Or when the repairman walks through your house, or someone follows you around the gym, or a person sits across from you in the waiting room. It may seem (at first glance) to be innocuous, but it gives me great pause.
