(Gordon) Women drives over smash-and-grab suspect An alleged smash-and-grab suspect received life support after he was dragged underneath the vehicle he tried to gain access to. 21 August 2013 The incident took place at an intersection of Snake and Pretoria roads at 7.30pm, on Tuesday. The man is believed to have been pulled underneath the vehicle when the women sped away in an attempt to escape, after an altercation between her and the man. The man sustained critical head injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Tembisa Hospital, said ER24 spokesperson, Vanessa Jackson. The woman reported the incident to police. An investigation is underway.
