***Gorgeous and loving Roe needs someone to love..by noon!*** A volunteer writes: It only takes one glance to know Roe has been a well-loved, well-cared-for dog. Stop by his kennel and hell greet you with a wagging tail and a soft warm gaze, a happy guy who is used to having company. Off leash in the backyard, he proves quite playful, happily chasing thrown tennis balls and retrieving them to entice more play. He stops frequently for breaks, taking the opportunity to snuggle close; Roe is so cuddly and warm its impossible to refuse! On our way to the park, he initially pulls on leash to take care of business--he appears very house trained--but once finished, he settles into a nice, easy pace, passing other dogs with ease. And when I show him a treat, he sits down nicely with an expectant look in his eyes. Surrendered to our care when his family lost their home, Roes former owners left wonderful notes for his new family. They tell us Roe has lived with children, cats and ferrets and is playful with animals outside the family. Roe is also house-trained, gets along with strangers and other children and responds to sit and give paw. He is also neutered and ready right now for his new family! So come give this well-mannered dog the second chance to find happiness! Were all rooting for this wonderful guy! TO BE DESTROYED - 10/04/14 Manhattan Center -P
