Got a call from a fundraisers for BCFA (Breast Cancer Fund of America). Raising money to help breast cancer patients, I always ask fundraisers How much money makes it to the patient, research, etc? Their answer was 5%. (Yup 5!!!) That is ridiculous. Some people try to make a living by taking advantage of real problems that people have deal with. There are so many charities, religious organizations and businesses that will say anything to get a cut of the money intended to do real work in helping others. Be careful, be generous and be compassionate but look out for the wolves. They are out there.
