Got a considerable bit of the weeds pulled, the grass by the swing and around 2 trees mowed, and some of the low and dead branches of the pecan tree trimmed off and gathered. Now just waiting to pick up my love from the carpool after she had a long day of parent teacher meetings. Besides getting one hell of a work out (I already feel sore) it felt sooooooooooo good to be outside in the yard! I always read about Capricorns being natural green thumbs, and as much as the thought appealed to me, and the sporadic experiences I was allowed to have, I never realized how refreshing it is to be able to take care of a yard on a regular basis. Pain in the ass sometimes...but something about having my hands in the dirt and being surrounded by the greenery and life just makes me feel at peace and back to "being me." :-D
