Got a little sniffle-y today as I left South Knoll Elem for the last time this year as a volunteer. The kids ALL hugged me....even the ones I never tutored. As the door shut my favorite kid cried out Goodbye Mrs. Fun in that pained way that only a 3rd grader can. But yalllll.....as if tutoring MATH hasnt been hard enough for me...today....they were DRAWING...and making MAPS. What is this school trying to do to me?? About the only thing that makes me MORE uncomfortable than math is drawing....or reading maps....so....next time just rub me with cat hair and lets end it all! :) For real next school year I have GOT to get in the reading or metaphor hunting line for tutors!
