Got a potential happy ending story for once! Today while I was parked another car scraped my car and simply drove off. Some other -really cool-UCSD students pointed out that it happened - I would not have noticed tbh! They got the license plate and vehicle description down with one character unknown. On the way home I remembered that I HAVE A DASH CAM that stays on for a while even when the car is off! Im so glad the other students informed me, otherwise I might not have taken the SD card out to save the footage :) So I have the vehicle and its plate! Now I dunno what to do next! ------------------------------------------------------------ Do I call the police or something? Should I tell my insurance what happened? ------------------------------------------------------------ PS Bonus pics from the dash cam - you can see the persons face as the car is scraping mine.
