Got a very good phone call from my insurance agent this morning. As you know, I was fortunate enough to be able to drop my flood insurance because I honestly shouldnt have ever had it, but was forced to when I bought my house. He called to let me know that the flood insurance was trying like hell NOT to cancel it, even though my bank and local insurance branch already kicked it to the curb. Evidently, they are in HUGE trouble with the whole thing because he told me they are going to pay me back for the entire time I was forced to pay for that scam. That is 10 years worth! He said I will probably get 60% of the total amount, which could be as much as $24,000 bucks! Even if something happens, and I only get $1,000 or so, I will be a very happy boy. So in short, SCREW YOU FEMA! HAHAHA
