Got an email from Jolene today so Im sharing with all of you! I know Cathy is a huge inspiration to Jolene Skisw! I’m reaching out on behalf of my personal radio hero Cathy Faulkner. Cathy was with KISW for 20 years. She was known (for those that don’t know) as The Late Cathy Faulkner. She was evening talent and Music Director for KISW. She was a HUGE SUPPORTER of the Seattle Music Scene during the 80’s & the 90’s. She helped break many of the BIG Seattle bands, yes those ones! She gave so much to KISW and our community during her time at The Rock. Her family has fell on hard times. Her husband Nels suffered a brain bleed to the right side of his brain.
