Got an email invitation to join a Messianic Seder this year. It featured a rabbi (my dog is more of a rabbi than this guy, I promise you) conducting a Passover seder... wearing a tallis (prayer shawl)! As my friend quipped, Of course all Jews wear their expensive wool talis to the seder so they can show off all the wine stains the next morning in shul! To appreciate the full facepalm, forehead-slapping effect of this photo, you have to realize that any observant Jewish child knows that Seders are held at night. And (aside from Yom Kippur), you dont wear a prayer shawl at night. And you NEVER EVER wear a prayer shawl at a Passover seder. Ever. And yet this goober is going to explain the meaning of Passover. *sigh*
