Got back from San Francisco. Dor and I went to watch our Polish daughter, Mary, run her first 1/2 marathon. We expected her to run 14 minute pace, but she ran slightly over 10 minute pace....we missed her somehow! But, saw 10 former CB students, 2 current parents and a couple parents of CB grads! All at the 5+ mile mark leading the the big hill! It was so cool to shout out, give high fives, fist bumps, encouragement and smiles. So many working so hard for their own personal betterment. Not so different than OUR kids running XC. Great times, great results and lots of great role models. Congratulations to Mary Mary Natalie Antosiak, Rochelle Kaye, Kelsey Wong, and Jeannie Pytel on their successful completion of the NWM 1/2 marathon. To former students: thanks for the shoutouts, hugs and smiles! So great to see so many of you running...well!
