Got home from the hospital last night about 7, so the worst is over. Some interesting facts about the hospital: when you have to use the bed pan you get attended to by a man - including cleaning your bottom; you can receive texts but you cant send any; food services gives you real pancake syrup, along with fruit juice and a fruit cup even though you are diabetic; when the dr calls on the room phone it is never anywhere you can get to it to answer it; no matter how many times you ask for coffee and refuse milk, you will get milk and no coffee; dont figure on getting any sleep after 6am till you have about an hour in the afternoon when no one wants anything from you; even though they spend fifteen minutes writing down everything they do, they can never tell when you had your last meds. All in all, though, all but one of the nurses and assistants were super nice, the bed was comfortable and I wasnt hungry anyway. Thanks to everyone for your prayers, good thoughts, texts and to Sean, Mahaliyah and Mackensie for visiting and to Nina for the flowers. It all helped make my stay positive.
