Got invited to a hen doo of someone I know vaguely I dont phone or hang about with this person unless on the rare occasion Im out they happen to be in same place I declined as the doo is abroad I also declined to pay towards the brides plane ticket and I got a mouthful of abuse from the person organising it! , now even if this person was my best friend I would still decline I have a business to run,children,dogs and a house to do up n buy I dont have time to go away for 3days we planed our own holiday a yr in advance! Neither can I afford it we have one wage coming in (which isnt a guaranteed wage if someone doesnt show or we r ill we dont get paid) n two loads o bills,Christmas n kids birthdays still to come so to everyone else that is going n hears Im just being tight n stuck up as was threatened to me this isnt the case,charlie
