Got jack of Townsville Bulletin printing bogus stories, so I sent - TopicsExpress

Got jack of Townsville Bulletin printing bogus stories, so I sent this to them. People of Townsville read and buy the Bulletin in good faith that you would keep us accurately informed on happening and events that occur in our city and other parts of the nation. I do not buy it read bogus stories that are put together just to please some. I believe this is one of them. Today’s Townsville Bulletin Tuesday 30 December Page 11. The Bulletin print a story on the Sunlander arriving at Townsville Railway platform, supposedly and assumed it was yesterday and also publishes a photo, no doubt from your files? Sorry Fiona. Not once did the driver wave to the people. Attached are two photos that dispute your story. Keep them. At least it’s the real deal! Sorry Rachel. I was there and I don’t recall there being any jurnos or photographers or even 100 people being on the platform to see it arrive. See my photos taken on the day. If you can see 100people good luck to you. The number of people that attended were down miserably. I believe this stemmed from the fact that Townsville Bulletin got it wrong in their publication last week. Last Friday 26 Dec 2014 the Bulletin printed that the Sunlander would be arriving on Tuesday. Had they got it right there may have been more people present to see such an Icon. Townsville Bulletin would have received a message asking them to check the timetable with Queensland Rail and possibly have the update in Saturdays paper. Did not happen. No apology to the people of Townsville or to its committed readers. Nothing again in Mondays paper. How do I know they got a message? Because my wife sent it from my phone!! Let’s hope you get it right for the return journey!
