Got my Spider screen calibrator in the mail yesterday and installed it today. Took a while to make it work on Windows 8.1 but its up and running now. What a difference! I thought that I had calibrated my screen pretty well, I was way off. The color and depth in my images now just inspire me to do more. The vividness and contrast in the paintings are finally coming through. OK, I know that all all you pros out there ate reading this and thinking Well doi! But give me a break. Im an armature on a budget. I am just an egg... Of course my enthusiasm is slightly damped by the knowledge that very few of the people who see my work will also have calibrated monitors. Its the Ive finally got the speakers in the studio perfectly tuned syndrome. Only I can hear them and everything is relative anyways. Either way Im totally jazzed!!! :-D
