Got one up for grabs! Its a BC Rich Savage Warlock bass. Previous owner had it taking up room in his practice space and wanted it gone. I was happy to oblige and pass it on! The specs: This is a BC Rich Savage Series Warlock bass. Only 24 made, in two waves of 12. The second wave all had the number 2 stamped on the back of their headstock; this isnt a factory second, Ive seen three others like this, so far. Theyre really hard to find. It has an ebony fretboard, savage fang inlays, maple neck-thru with a basswood body and black neck binding. (Yeah, black binding on a black bass! You can see it in my pictures of the fretboard.) First off, the bad. The original BC Rich tuners were shot; I had to swap them for Dragonfire tuners. (Dragonfire bass tuners are essentially debranded Wilkinson bass tuners. Same quality, same Asian factory, no big W logo on the back side.) It also looks like the original owner never had a proper stand for it, so he rested it on his practice spaces cement floor. Its got a little bit of wear on the two bottom horns, with one notably worse than the other. It also has two small dings on the upper front side, above the pickups; one off-center scratch on the back of the neck, near the 14th fret; some small indentations on the front of the fretboard, near the 12th fret, and the top of the headstock has one small, small chip on the back of one of the points, with some light finish wear on the other point. Also, the clearcoat on the back of the neck is weird around the 1st-5th frets, like the previous owner played it with a funky chemical on his hands and it made the clearcoat slightly cloudy. Now, the good. The rest of the bass is in really good shape! The electronics work fine; no scratchy pots, that I could tell. Just two BC Rich P-style pickups, two volumes, a tone and a selector switch. The rest of the finish is good! Everything plays nice, although the action is a bit high, so you might need to get it set-up for your preferences. I ship via FedEx Ground, direct signature required, full shipping insurance, the box marked fragile. I use fresh ULine boxes, big bubble wrap and air pillows. I know how to pack pointy guitars, and Ive never had a problem. Im looking for $400 shipped in the lower 48. No trades. Im also open to offers! Shoot me a PM if youre interested! The only other one of these for sale right now is used at Guitar Center. In rougher shape, $450 + tax and shipping. Ive got the best deal on the internet, and theres only 24 of these out there! Get it while its hot!
