Got these words of support from a hero of mine, a best-selling author, who was one of the first people to inspire and shape The Mother Movement. Her words refer to Street Gangs, the initiative I am running that connects mothers in their street: "You wouldn’t play bass without a band. You wouldn’t make a bonfire to heat a cup of tea. Some things were meant to be shared. Family is one of them. Street Gangs is a brilliant initiative that helps families connect with families, to make the hard work of raising kids that much easier – and the awesome part that much better."
