Got this from someone, hope it encourages you... Many times we struggle do to our own flesh. We tend to make decisions based on our current issue or situation. We are quick to tell someone, anyone that “you don’t know my story”, but let’s be honest, our story is not that much different than other people. Just because we are going through a rough season we feel we are the only ones that are going through it. Let me remind you that your issue, circumstance or situation is no different than many other people that are on this Earth, you are no different than anyone else when it comes to trials and tribulations, your calling may be greater, or your blessing maybe great, but what youre going through is just as anyone else. You can’t expect to receive a blessing without a sacrifice or trial and tribulations. You didn’t just wake up in the situation that you are going through, by some reason or others you have arrived to this road block. Take a look at the children of Israel; what they went through due to many different reasons. When we look at the children of Israel, we tend to focus on the point when Moses was called to go before Pharaoh and deliver the children from Egypt. There are reasons as to why the children of Israel were enslaved and treated horribly. Your reason may or may not be the same, yet you have done something or may not have done what you needed to do to have you not go through what you are going through. Don’t turn to people and say “you don’t know my story”, true, I may not know your issue or situation or circumstance yet there is one thing I know and that is your trials and tribulations is no different from someone else, you don’t go through it alone, just because you are the only one you know going through that doesn’t mean you are by yourself. We do things that place us in foreign lands; we travel to unknown destinations without the correct travellers checks or navigation materials. The children of Israel were delivered yet were still ungrateful with doubt. They wandered for forty years in the wilderness before many of them were allowed to enjoy the field with milk and honey, yet they continued to go through because of their wayward ways. Much like what many of us go through and during our tribulations period we tend to find what many may call religion. Once many of us get that blessing we go right back to what we were doing before, this is known as using God. We use others for what we want when we want, then turn and use God in the same manner. Do you even realize that if you continue to stay with God your blessing will be even greater than that small increase you received, the reason you were blessed by God is because of His grace and mercy. Yet when you turn your back on God you allow yourself to be hindered even more. Complaining provokes God, and hinders your blessing. The children of Israel turned their backs on God and throughout all and everything He continued to rescue them from their oppressors and delivered them from their conflicts. Just as today God delivers many of us from ourselves, yet we still get involved with things that are not of Him, we continue to do what we want when we want and then get upset because things do not go the way we want. God said “in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct they paths”, many of us only acknowledge Him for what we want when we want, then we go back to our inhumanity of the flesh. Then we wonder why our blessings are not as great as we feel they should be, you have to do more than just acknowledge God in prayer, we have to commit acts of faith continuously, not having faith can hinder your blessings, once your faith meets your expectations then your blessings will fall in line.
