Got this message from my good friend Buck , shit like this makes it all worthwhile ; Hey brother...I just got 2 copies of the new book and am blown away. Your work is astonishing one at a time, but theres something about the ebb and flow, peaks and valleys, and the organic movement, page to page, to really get you...Its like Jazz... Im loving it. I gave the other copy to my mom, who has already marked pages with leaves, feathers, long grass, flowers, from her walks. She used to teach Shakespeare, and she digs in and lives with a book...she says they have a power and energy and a life, a soul, far beyond the print...shes out there, but shes right. Its always with her...so thank you for all that work. 50 years from now some moody teenager will stumble into a box of old books, something the family has had in the attic for years, and hell dig around until he sees yours...hmmm?...dust it off, open it up, see all the folded corners thus knowing it had been well loved, smell the paper, run his hand over the words, the print...then go find a quiet place to begin...
