Got to be a part of a tiny bit of Bay Area History last night. Saw - TopicsExpress

Got to be a part of a tiny bit of Bay Area History last night. Saw a screening of a film called Advantageous here last night. This is 3210 Studios, formerly Kerner Optical, Formerly ILM...I sat right next to the booth in the center. I believe this is where Mr Lucas would sit during dailys(not certain of this fact, but seems most likely). Most of ILMs best VFX shots and films were screened, and critiqued in this room in the late 70s, 80s and 90s. This is not to be confused with Skywalker Ranch, which I have had to opportunity to see a few films as well. The second pic is a Nazi Blimp scale model from the film, The Rocketeer. It should be noted that this is not the original model. The modeller who made the original was very enamored with the original, and decided to remake it while he was bored.
