Got together with a very dear group of friends tonight to celebrate life, friends and the blessings that bring the two together! We even raised our glasses and toasted our friend Chester Crandell...and as we lowered our glasses, a moment passed in which each of us also paid a silent tribute to him. Then we regaled each other with our favorite stories involving him...and there was so much laughter and joy in our stories! We busted up laughing when we all simultaneously mentioned how Chester always had a smile and a mischievous-like twinkle in his eyes. such a character! We discussed how we all felt as though we had a unique relationship with him and then we agreed that Chester just had a way of making each person he knew feel as though they had a special bond with him...he was really a man of relationships. Needless to say, each of us feel blessed that his friendship graced our lives. Rest in peace, my friend...and thank you for still making us laugh and smile.
