Got two letters yesterday and one today :) The first one yesterday was a long one. It took 8 days to get here but it got here! Hes part of super squad They get to go to breakfast early. Sometimes its good and sometimes its not. Hes lost 10 pounds so far. Im pretty happy about that one! He never gets enough food. So well probably be doing a lot of eating when hes home. He volunteered to design the Senior Drill Instructors campaign cover! The protein bars and beef jerky were great! So thats the first letter. The second one wasnt as long, but it was just as special. He said he feels bad for reading my mail and not having time to write back. Its okay though because there are less than 5 weeks left! He qualified on range and shot expert! The two pictures of us he taped in the rifle log book are what he said helped the most :) At nights while everyone else is cleaning, he gets to stay in the bathroom and work on the platoons motivational painting. I couldnt be more proud of how well hes doing! One more month to go! The letter I got today was a long one! Definitely a great start to my day :) It was written this past Sunday and sent out the next day. The 8 mile hike wasnt as bad as what he expected it to be. Field week is coming up. Hes excited to do something different. Things dont get easier, they are just use to it by now. Marley and Me and The Lucky One are two movies he promised we could watch together when he gets back and that will be one of the first things we do! He said it feels like hes been gone way too long! It has been way too long! Even though we arent married yet, he wrote the military wifes prayer and sent that to me :)He thinks he wont see me until March 7. When he realizes Family Day is March 6 and he gets to see me then, thatll put him in a great mood for sure! Well thats everything from the past three letters. Thank you for reading. I just wanted to share how much I love my baby and how proud I am of him! Five weeks to go! We got this!
