Got up briefly to plug in my phone for an alarm...and what I woke up to was in fact alarming... I did not feel the need to say this earlier, but Ive been tagged in posts that I have had no hand in perpetuating an argument. I do NOT want to aggravate an already bad situation. I DO know that setting the record straight feels important to many. I DO want to continue what I have been enjoying doing without heed to whoever talks shit about me. We performers are NOT at the same level as each other... None of us are. There are plenty of things my troupe is better than others at and plenty of things other troupes are better than mine at. Im not bullying anyone out of their gig even though a friend of mine was bullied out of hers by the same person in question. Ive made an advertisement for a couple of the same people who no longer care for me as a person for their Halloween gig... Because I AM A PROFESSIONAL. I do not attack others and find more productive things to do than blasting. I am mostly angry with the attitudes of a few ladies trying to illegally defame myself and OUR fellow artists. All I can say for ourselves is to please, try and not sink to this level... As awfully tempting though it may be when you think you see a lie... Let the dates on your photos speak for themselves. I know Ive lost a substantial following due to this drama. Setting the record straight here feels important; I have never undercut for a gig, I have never knowingly ripped anyones act off, I have gotten angry ONE time for a holier than thou post but realized my mistake in responding too late that it would do nothing but aggravate the situation. There is a lot of wrong happening right now towards my peeps... I just dont want for us to look the same way our attackers do. Thank you for reading this giant post and apologies for the novel. I have now said my piece, and hopefully that will be that.... And for comedys sake... First and Original have already been done years ago.... Because you can always ask Cherri Jubal-Lee for advice on whatever it was. lol
