Gotta love Home Depot for this one. Im not even going to get into my usual Jia rant b/c you guys swear Im so sensitive when it comes to issues dealing with race or the Black community as a whole. Just a reminder though...Im not anti anything but I AM pro Black and it angers me that there are so many companies and celebs out here who can post racially insensitive things (KNOWING the possibility for backlash), apologize, and then everything completely blows over within a few days. If I cant leave you with any piece of advice, let me just say that Black people must do more in terms of understanding their worth. The power of the Black dollar is real and its proven every time these reports are released at the top of the year talking about how much were spending during the holidays. If people, as a collective, banded together and said We are NOT spending our money with you, youd see so many businesses go on the decline. Even if its merely a slight suffer, its a suffer nonetheless. But alas, you guys will still continue shopping there; after all, it was just a picture with two Black men and a monkey.
