Gotta love vacations. As Im waiting for my Nook to recharge, Ill comment on my most recent reads. Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg has been on my to read list for awhile now. To boil it down, she discusses the continued inequality of women in leadership, home and work, and provides her thoughts on how this can be improved. Sheryl had quite a few insightful points, particularly about being a career loving mom and how to juggle all the responsibilities. Granted, she and her husband can afford all the help they need, but one of her biggest points was to have a supportive husband who shares equally in household and childrearing responsibilities, and who is fully supportive of his wife. I recommend this particularly for working women, but also their husbands. For my fun reads, Im a sucker for James Patterson. This week I read The Postcard Killers, which was an intriguing and different murder mystery (the killers actually get caught early on, but everybody thinks they arent guilty). I also read Suzannes Diary for Nicholas, which was his first romance novel (think Nicholas Sparks-like). Its short (130 pages) but has a wild twist at the end that makes it super sweet.
