Gov. Kashim Shettima receives donations from Zenith Bank, ASUU, N.U.R.T.W &0thers Many individuals, groups and associations are still trooping in mass to the Maiduguri Government House to donate relief materials to Gov. Kashim Shettima for onward distribution to Internally Displaced Persons in the state. Latest among them are: 1.Zenith Bank Plc represent represented by its General Manager Alhaji Adamu Lawan. 2. ASUU Unimaid Chapter donated the sum of N500,000 through its Chairman Dr. Musa Abdullahi. 3. N.U.R.T.W. by its Chairman Alhaji Bello Moduganari. 4. Fertilizer Sales Association by its Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Yaro. 5. Bolori Stores Traders led by Alhaji Bukar Soja. 6. Alhaji Modu Shamsham. The Governor had while receiving the relief items emphasized that a donation of a carton of noodles at this moment difficulty is far much better than 1000 bags of rice in times of peace. He therefore thanked all the donors and called on other Banks, Business cooperation and other individuals doing Business in state to contribute towards alleviating suffering of the displaced persons. May Allah reward them abundantly for the contributions.
